Composer: Mark Dickman's Musicals and Songs

Between 1997/1998, Mark Dickman and Steve Scott wrote 'Chance!', a musical based on the board game, 'Monopoly'. Initially the work was written as part of A-Level coursework, but eventually the project expanded into something rather larger! A concept recording was produced in April 1998, with over £3000 of support in conjunction with the Eastbourne Youth Music Initiative / Arts Council of Great Britian.

After attending University, Mark and Steve decided in 2003 to revamp the show, adding additional characters and re-working the book (co-written by Steven Charles Tribe / Steve Antony).

The show received its premiere at the Gardner Arts Centre, University of Sussex in September 2003, this time with Grassy Knoll Theatre, and David Brinson as Artistic Director.
